TodayWhy I'm posting in the morning is beyond me because I never do. Well, maybe if I'm at work but otherwise, it's very unusual. Go figure.
Today I'm dropping Stella off at her cousin's and running to WalMart. Yes, this is more of an ordeal than it sounds like. It's roughly a 35 minute drive from here. We're talking straight driving. No stop signs, stop lights etc... Yes I live in the middle of no where and at times it sure does suck. About all we have here is a Family Dollar, couple of Pharmacy/drug stores, 3 hardware stores, a Vet, a grocery store (we used to have 2 but one bought the other out), a bank, credit union... You get the picture. We have virtually nothing. So anyway, I'm keeping her cousin for the night tonight so I'm going to get my crap done today and get some things for them to keep them occupied. I wanted to get S a trampoline but that seems kind of pointless since she's only going to be around for another week or so (I have a feeling it'll be longer as I haven't heard from her dad since I asked about the tickets and that was oh, 3 days ago I think!). I did buy a badmitton (sp?) set last week that we've been playing around with w/o the net. I'll probably set that up today and let them play and plop my ass right outside in the sun and cancerize myself a bit. God! I love summer!!! They requested silly string and cotton candy. What the hell!? They're only young once right? My yard is going to be covered but I know they'll have so much fun! We've also go the sprinkler and the slip and slide for today and the hot tub for tonight! :) I love that thing!!!
Ok, have to go water my hanging baskets before it gets too hot out. I should get some more flowers to plant today too....
